Overview
Wiki Duniya is a user-generated platform that allows individuals and organizations to create their own public profile pages. To ensure a safe, trustworthy, and respectful environment, all users must adhere to this Content & Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) when submitting content.
Permitted Content
Users may post content that is:
- Truthful, accurate, and lawful.
- Respectful of others’ rights and privacy.
- Relevant to their identity, skills, services, or organizational activities.
- Free from harmful, hateful, or misleading information.
Prohibited Content
Users are strictly prohibited from posting content that:
- Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
- Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Contains defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading information.
- Violates any intellectual property rights or privacy laws.
- Encourages illegal activities, terrorism, or harmful behavior.
- Contains spam, unsolicited advertising, or phishing attempts.
- Harasses, threatens, or bullies other users or third parties.
- Includes malware, viruses, or malicious code.
User Responsibilities
- Ensure all submitted content complies with this Policy and applicable laws.
- Maintain accuracy and truthfulness in all profile information.
- Respect the rights and dignity of others in all interactions.
- Report any prohibited or harmful content using the “Report This Page” feature promptly.
Content Moderation
- Wiki Duniya employs automated tools and manual review to detect and remove prohibited content.
- Content violating this Policy may be removed or edited without prior notice.
- Users who repeatedly violate this Policy may have their profiles suspended or banned.
Enforcement Actions
- Warning notices may be issued to users for initial violations.
- Profiles with serious or repeated violations may be suspended or deleted.
- Illegal content will be reported to law enforcement and relevant authorities as required by law.
No Endorsement
- Removal of content does not imply endorsement or validation of the content or its creator.
- Users are responsible for the content they post.
Appeals
Users may contact the designated Grievance Officer via the Legal Request Form to appeal enforcement decisions. Appeals will be reviewed promptly and fairly.
Changes to Policy
Wiki Duniya may update this Policy periodically. Updated versions will be posted on the Platform with the effective date.
