I am a psychologist and clinical hypnotherapist with over twenty years of professional experience across corporate and mental health settings. My interest in psychology developed gradually, shaped by years of working closely with people and observing emotional patterns that often remain unspoken in everyday life.
I currently run Iyashi Wellness, where I offer online therapy and emotional well-being support. My work focuses on helping individuals understand themselves better — not just addressing symptoms, but exploring the emotional experiences and patterns beneath them. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood and supported, rather than analysed or judged.
My areas of work include emotional regulation, anxiety, stress, relationship and attachment concerns, self-worth issues, and life transitions. I work primarily with adolescents, young adults, parents, and individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed or stuck in repetitive patterns. Each person comes with a different background and pace, and I make it a point to respect that throughout the therapeutic process.
Alongside psychological therapy, I am trained in clinical hypnotherapy, which I use when appropriate as a supportive tool. My approach is integrative and practical, and therapy is viewed as a collaborative process rather than a one-sided intervention. I value creating a safe and steady space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions.
I am also a mother of two daughters, which has added depth to my understanding of emotional development, parenting, and family dynamics. This personal experience informs my work, particularly when supporting parents and adolescents, and reinforces my belief in the importance of emotional safety within families.
Originally a Keralite and born in the UAE, I bring a blended cultural perspective to my work. Outside my professional role, I enjoy reading, movement, and creative expression, which help me stay grounded and balanced.
At the core of my work is the belief that people are not broken — they are often dealing with unresolved emotions or unmet needs. Therapy, to me, is a space for clarity, reflection, and gradual change.
