At Wiki Duniya, we take user trust and platform safety seriously. To prevent misuse, impersonation, and fake profiles, we collect limited but meaningful verification information during registration.

What We Collect

For Individuals:

• Permanent Account Number (PAN) – entered manually by the user.
  • Mandatory mobile OTP verification to confirm active contact details.

For Organizations:

• GST Registration Number, PAN (organization), or official registration number.
• Mandatory mobile OTP verification for the authorized representative.

How We Use This Information

• To confirm the identity of the person or entity creating the profile.
• To reduce fake accounts, spam, and abuse.
• To comply with applicable laws when required by authorities.

Privacy & Security

• We never ask for Aadhaar number, Aadhaar scan, or Aadhaar OTP verification.
• All PAN, GST, and registration numbers are stored in encrypted format.
• None of your verification information is displayed publicly.
• Data is only shared if legally required.

Retention

• Kept only as long as needed for verification, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
• Deleted or anonymised when no longer required.

Your Rights

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your verification data (subject to legal requirements) via our Legal Request Form.
• Providing this information confirms your consent for us to use it for verification and security purposes.
